I keep seeing all these moms post about “junk free” Easter baskets. Well I’m not sure that means junk free for everyone. Most of the things are junk but that’s the fun of holidays. I love giving gifts that we actually use, but sometimes, that might come with a little bit of fun junk that they will get a kick out of! Here is what we will have in our baskets this year for a 2 year old boy and 4 year old girl:
Swim Suites! It s the perfect time of year to gift a swimsuit they will wear all summer long! I got these NEON swimsuits from Target. Why Neon?? Because you can see your child better when swimming. This helps with drowning safety which is so important for our littles! Here are some ones I found on Amazon:
Books, Books, Books! I love to get books that get my littles excited! My daughter is obsessed with the Rainbow Magic Fairy’s book. It’s the perfect intro to chapter books. We already read the first book twice! So she is getting the next book in the series. She is also obsessed with Ninja Turtles. Since we don’t watch a ton of TV she has never seen the show. This is the perfect solution and she is going to be so excited! They are great for beginning readers, she is on level 2 step into reading. With my son, he LOVES Cars the movie. I picked two step into reading Cars books level one for him. And lastly an Easter book for my son because it’s so darn cute!
CANDY, but make it healthier! Yum Earth organic candies is our go to. We don’t do tons of sweets in our house but for holidays I always pick these up! I got the spring variety pack which has lollipops, gummy fruits and jelly beans. No artificial dyes, all organic and gluten free! Great for stuffing those eggs!
Custom Name Puzzle from Amazon turned out so cute! My daughter already has one so I got my son one. Its so helpful when learning how to spell there name. I love how you get to pick out your own colors and custom figures on the bottom! They have cute options for girls too.
